Great video. Exactly what I was looking for
I always got better distance off of side casting a spinning reel. I pull it back kinda lasso type type motion, using the inertia of the swinging bait (so I don't jerk it off, lol), I'll whip that sucker way out there! I won't use that motion with braided line though, only mono. Braided I just pitch, flip, traditional side cast.

I need to practise casting a lot. How to cast light jig/lure ? I always catch the wind and it stops dead in midair…

I tried the pitching technique and ended up with the hook set in my hand and had to Go to the ER. If you try it please be careful.
Number 2 is very helpful when you fishing in small creeks with trees around the banks I use that technique a lot
