No. 1 water. No. 2 toilet paper. No. 3 Rod, Reel, and tackle No. 4 Money. No. 5 BIC lighters and or wind-proof matches. No. 6 Weapons. Everything else is subject to your own discretion.
I have stuff like extra warm clothes, sandals, clothes line, 3 ton jack, tire pumper, heavy duty car battery cables, machete, etc. Umbrellas, chairs, water bottles, knives, lead lines, backpack, hats, etc. just make life easier.
As for lenses, they all scratch and you'll lose them fast. Just buy the cheap polarized KVD as much as I don't like him. Or buy whatever feels good or fits like Solar Bat, Shady Rays, Renegade, etc. Ray Bans don't fit fat heads. You have to understand that most these stunners are worth no more than $30, but bc of Luxxotica, it has significantly jumped in price for no reason as they are contracted with major chain suppliers, and to opt out spells death for companies such as Ray Bans. Comfort, price, and performance should be your only considerations.
For some reason, if you take your split ring pliers fishing, you always lose them.
The best flash light in my opinion the inova is the BEST FLASHLIGHT EVER
Love my Leatherman Surge. That thing gets so much use fishing
Ace hardware carries gorilla glue if you have one in your area
A hemostat is a must for me, I always have one clipped on my shirt
Mmmm I love me some 100% poiso— I mean “Dett”
No first aid kit
Wow surprisingly very effective
give this man more subscribers!!!!
I love using bug spray but i always carry a thermacell with me also
“Deet” d-e-t-t 😆
Oakley gang
I always recommend a good pair of gloves and at least one water resistant bag or box for phones, wallet's and any other valuable items.
"Why a multi-tool over a pair of pliers?"
How about both? I carry a Leatherman and a pocketknife, and keep a pair of pliers in my fishing bag, and either a pair of pliers and a knife or a cheap multitool in my boat. You can forget things, people borrow things, tools get dropped in the lake. You don't want to be stuck without pliers when a monster fish chokes your topwater, or you're trying to retrieve your favorite crankbait from a very angry snake/snapping turtle/bird.
Sunscreen very important as well.
You dont know anything man… The information youre giving is wack
whats some specific kayak gear you think you need going out
Hi , just subscribed, from NYC. Love the content and the "back to basics" explanations with this video. Its a great help!I just started fishing again, with vintage equipment, so all these tips are perfect.(Hope it's ok to give a shout out to a senior gent, Dennis and his channel, "2nd Hand Tackle". He's great with older reel repair and the history behind them – using my Dad's older equipment because of him). Have a great week!
I like Sawyer Permethrin Clothing and Fabric Insect Repellent, repels and kills insects on contact. Good for us bank anglers who have to go through bushes sometimes to get to where we want to fish. Don't want no Ticks or Mites to grab onto clothing/back pack while fishing.
headlamp over a flash light
Ok bud for everyone to know academy has a small pump spray bottle of rebel 99.9 percent deet. Also man I need to get to eufala already. Keep em comin man.
Good info. I’m most impressed by the quality of the lighting of the video. 👍
