Wish to have fishing rod..if you hqve an old one.. 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
Does that information can also be applied to Telescopic Fishing Rods?
Ugly Stick 6'6 Medium Spinning Rod and a Mitchell 300 Spinning reel. Use 30 pd Suffix Green Moss Braided line. You can catch anything on this combo and line. Ask me how I know? Shawn.
I need A series 2500 or 3000 right
The piece of Thing methodically drifting from the reel has earning you a subscriber.
This dude doesn’t explains shit. And doesn’t even includes the link.
@TightlineTV what is that black combo you showed in this video ?
where is the link to buy that rod????
2000 reel, 5’7 light rod, 7lb test
I will take spinning tackle all day long🐟
Bait casting is a pain the ass
I fish in the back bay from piers thanks
Hi what is the set up you are using in the video thanks
Any brand rod and reel you prefer?
What’s the name of the rod?
What’s it called
Thanks for this video! I haven't been fishing in 15 years, never had anything but hand-me-down gear. My 3yr old wants to start fishing together and now I need to buy my first fishing pole. Thanks for the advice hopefully we'll be hooking some sunny's next week.
What does the reel mean? Like I know the 2500-3000 but what does that number mean?
Ohh you can’t get giant catfish with that lmao
Thanks. I’m very new to fishing, and an all-purpose set up is what I’m looking for. It’s always frustrating for people new to a thing like fishing; don’t even get me started on bow hunting. I’m both surprised & unsurprised, at just how bloody over complicated humans have made fishing. I mean, I get it, there’s always a little nuance to everything; this might work slightly better here, that might be useful for over there, but for fu*k sake, it’s a fuc*ing flexible stick with a line and hook, to catch fish from water. Now if I wanted to catch a large shark, of course the average fishing rod would almost certainly be useless.
But when a person just wants the tools to catch good sized fish to eat, from the ocean and from fresh water, there’s got to be the tools available, and clearly presented as such, to do that.
If humans don’t yet have the ability to create an excellent, all-purpose, almost unbreakable (by any fish), flexible stick, with equally strong line, and a simple reel system that wont go tits-up at the slightest bit of stress then, shit, humanity might as well just knock it on the head and let the next species in line get on with their evolution.
Anyway, just had to get that off my chest. Thanks again for the video.
Can we get a link for a good all around fishing rod
Where can I get this rod
What kind fishing pole is that the all black one?
One piece or two piece for the pole?
Good 👍 information I agree with. Thanks for sharing
I caught an 18 buffalo on a 3’ white perch rod
Nice, I didn't think you needed 15 rods to catch a fish lol. I doubt cavemen walked around with 15 poles. Rodonkulous
Have a medium 6' rod and will only buy another rod when it breaks or to go deep sea.
Have two reels one for salt and one for freshwater.
The only reason to get anything else is because you want to, any other "reason" is BS
Have you ever used a south end road? They call it a raven I got it for 30$ just trying to get a review on it.
Hey brother, thanks for the straightforward advice. I have had enough ‘philosophy of fishing’ videos that can’t answer the simple question “what is the best versatile, all-round combo to buy as your first set-up?” without going into reams of context about species, bait and conditions. If I knew specifically what species, bait and conditions I would be fishing I would probably be looking for something other than the most versatile basic set-up I could find. Anyway, thanks for the straight talk including the phrase, “this is what I grew up on.” That always makes me feel better for some reason! Cheers!
I had the first rod and it broke after a few months of having it
Is 1pc or 2 pc better
I almost clicked off this video from that "I need my coffee in the morning intro" so cringe
I caught a 2.4kg carp with a rod which has a limitation of 1kg. This rod will give you a better experience, but never say you cant catch something cause of your rod. This isnt gaming where the better you monitor and pc is, the more potential you have to become better at a game. Fishing is pure skill. If u can catch a carp with a kids rod, you got skill.
I predominantly fish 6’ – 7 ‘ Medium Fast Action rods with Rear Drag Shimano Reels. 6-12 lb Mono and I can pretty much catch everything, you just have set the drag right and let the fish do the work. I do have light rods too for Trout.
Just got a 8ft ultra lite. Best rod I've ever had. I like the length for the castability because I fish from the bank. The thill wobble bobbers are crazy good for long casting. I highly recommend it !
Can a medium action rod handle a 1oz sinker if I was to bottom fish ?
Could you fish rock fish with this
Is 9 ft rod good for river ,dam ,lake and sea fishing ? Lure surf casting way!
Please do mention !
Reply me! I tried this in sea fishing good result .your suggestion please.
